I got a couple of Tana Ramsey's books. The recipes are real family style food, so I thought they'd be good as DS grows up. I've made quite a few recipes so far & I'm finding that the instructions aren't too good
Luckily I cook a lot, so I know what to do when it is just presumed. I've also had to slightly alter some - like the times, sizes, amounts etc. I do love the books, great pics etc but I don't think a lot of editing or testing of the recipes was done. Anyone else had any problems? |

It's funny though isn't it because like on masterchef, when everyone's given the same recipe, you can guarantee you will get completely different outcomes from everyone, so maybe that's why things are not explained fully, maybe she's wanting you to have your own interpretation??? can't really comment on it exactly as have none of her books but have heard many a comment that she's actually beter than her hubby LOL!! WIll maybe get one when Finlay gets a bit older and give one of her recipes a go
