Default The AK Book exchange

Hi Ladies,

Just a thought and apologies if someone has already suggested this, but does anyone else think it might be a good idea that if you have a book that you have read and finished with, that you request a book from another AK user that you would like to swap it for IYKWIM!!

I have loads of books sat in a box that I will never read again, and you never know one of them may be something that someone else wants!

What do you all think??

Lisa xx

Perhaps we should all get a list together then and post on here and then if anyone is interested in swapping a book that you have then they could just pm details to that person and hopefully you will be able to swap it with a book of their list IYKWIM!

I will get a list together as soon as I can. Better do it soon, before baby arrives though!!!

Does anyone own a copy of Philip Pullman's the Amber Spyglass? I am reading the trilogy, but do not have the last book yet.
if you have then I can let you know what I have by way of returning the swap.
thanks

I'd love the Phillip Pullman book, is it #2? I've been wanting to read the trilogy, but still haven't read the first book, either.

By way of swap, I have just finished The Kite Runner, if anyone still hasn't read it...

Am finishing up The Red Tent by Anita Diamant. I picked it up at a used bookstore for a fiver on my vacation, and whaddyaknow!!! It is actually signed by the author! I can't keep it (we're moving), so if anyone wants this book please let me know and I'll send it to you next week once I'm done.
