I loved The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe but it is definitly more impressive and magical on the big screen. The next instalment "Prince Caspian" is out really soon, I cannot wait!

Was really disappointed in the Da Vinci code, Tom Hanks did not do it for me as the lead role. Loved the film Stardust, thought even though the film was quite different to the book, it was still a good adaptation.

They are making films of The Time Travellers wife, which is one of my favorite books, really hope it does it justice.

xx

Has anyone seen the film of 'the dark is rising'?

I remember reading it when i was at primary school and i couldn't put it down. But if i remember rightly the dark is rising was a follow up to a book called the silver crown - i don't think they made a film of that one???

I would love to reread the dark is rising and then see the film

If you enjoyed it on sky one then you'll enjoy the book hun. I really liked The Colour Of Magic which is based on the first 2 books - The Colour Of Magic and The Light Fantasic. David Jason was in it as well. They are planning on adapting another one of Terry Pratchett's books - Going Postal I think. Can't you tell I'm a big Terry Pratchett fan.

ooh maybe I will have to add some Terry Pratchett books to my increasingly long "must read" list!
