LOL! Maybe I can be a little bit of devil's advocate here! So many people I know are obsessed with Twilight! I really did enjoy the books, although not obsessively and (sorry to all fans) I thought the films were a bit disappointing. I thought all the vampires (even R-Patz - sorry again) looked awful, like they had mime make up on! The make up in the second film was better, and I liked the wolf effects. But Kristen Stewart leaves me cold, she doesn't have the charisma Bella needs to be this enigmatic person that attracts all the vamps (imho). Haven't seen the third film yet, but hoping they might get it right this time. Trailer looked good.
Did anyone read The Host, by the same author? I found that story far more intruiging than the vampire thing which, lets face it, has been rather done to death in recent times.
