Hi Bubba: sounds like Mia is like Rhys has been. After 3 weeks of a "wet" cough I took him to GP last week (snot and phlegm isnt coloured so I left it that long). Thought as it wasnt getting any better, I better go get him checked. Nothing in his chest, coughing particuarly at night, during sleep, waking him up and at start was vomiting with coughing fits.
GP just said it was post nasal drip hence why he coughed mainly at night when flat as it didnt have anywhere to go: during day, gravity makes the snot go down into tummy! We are just giving him Calpol if temp up and some Medised (mainly to get him to sleep! Which it doesnt seem to make him sleep!) Last edited by hiann : 16-11-08 at 22:12. |

Again, going back to the "meds banned until kids 2 years old" thing, GP said R was too young (ie she stuck to the official line) but think I prob have some Galpseud liquid in the cupboard. |
