Default Her poor little bum

Izzy has the worst nappy rash she has ever had, it just seems to have come from nowhere, she went to nursery yesterday and came home with a bit of a rash and today it is terrible with broken skin in places and all over the tops of her legs too.

Have slathered her in sudocrem and am hoping it will clear up quickly. Have had to use cotton wool and water instead of wipes to clean her up which I haven't done since she was about 3 months as it is too painful for her otherwise.

Don't know where this has come from she doesn't seem to have teething symptoms but has done 2 v messy nappies today already.

Awwww poor Izzy. Maybe her stomach is a little "off" and it will be the acid in her poop that is making her bum sore. Hope it clears up very soon. x

I agree with Carla - Metanium really worked when Dominic had really bad nappy rash.

Hope it clears up soon.

xx

Ahhhh bless her! I use Bepanthen on Molly when she has a sore bum. Last year we had an episode similar to this and as a 1st time parent I thought the worst and took her to the docs and it turned out to be severe nappy rash and thrush, the nurse gave me some more cream to use for the thrush morning and night and use normal nappy rash cream at every nappy change. So if it persists I would say try the docs hun. ((((Hugs))))

Metanium has also worked a treat for Tilly when she got really bad - Sudocrem was rubbish!
If it is really bad, she may need a steroid cream from the docs to get it bakc to normal, then use metanium as it is healing.
