Sorry I can't be of much help but how old is she? Has she previously gained weight ok? Have you spoken to the dietician again about her not gaining weight since dropping the last feed. How active is she? Some kids just don't put on a lot of weight. What does she weigh & is the dr concerned about her weight? Hopefully someone will come along who can be of more help. x

All babies gain weight at different rates it can be so varied. My 3 girls were all very poor with thier gain and had to have check ups all the time (all still thin now) but my 2 boys gained loads and were really chunky babies. They say as an average they usually double thier birth weight by 6 months and treble it by a year.
With regards to dropping the bottle if you think she needs it then I would carry on with it, you are her mum, you know best.
Welcome to the site, it really is a great place for advice (very addictive too).

When you say admitted to hospital when was this and what was she at birth and what does she weigh now. Sounds like if she is very active and meeting all her developmental milestones there isn't really anything to worry about but obviously i'm not a dr. I think you should have another appointment with her Dr. Does the dietician want to see her again? How about giving high cal foods like avocado. How does she do with her solids? Do you feel she eats enough?

Welcome to AK too!

She was admitted overnigt when she was 2 months old, when she was born she was 8lb 12oz and she is 15lb 7oz now, the dietician want to see her again but not until march, she eats her solids like they are going out of fashion, hopefully the Nutramigen 2 might help her gain weight (waiting on the Prescription from the Dr)

Some kids are just slow gainers. Sounds like they are not too worried about her or I think they would want to see her before March. I would just put it down to the fact that she is very active and as long as everything else is ok I would try not to worry. Easier said than done I know!! Sounds like she likes her food so no probs there.
