Modelling
Just wondered if anyone had ever applied to any modelling agencies for their LOs? Charlie and Lois have got a consultation with Urban Angels at the end of the month. I've done loads of research to establish that they are a credible agency. just wondered if anyone else had any experiences or thoughts on this?

I think emmared's kiddies did some modeling. Not sure though.
I would make sure they don't want any money up front from you.

A friend of mine has a seven year old daughter who has been modelling on and off since she was born - more as a baby than recenlty as my friend does not want it to interfere with her education.
She has over £10,000 from it in her daughter's bank account which she can't touch until she is 18.
We thought about it, but you have to be committed to it yourself with regards to time and willing to pay out for travel expenses yourself etc with no return directly, but as a future investment.
Is a fab idea if you are willing to do it

thanks for advice, they were offered a contract with Bizzykidz a while ago who i know are a reputable agency but i'm holding out for Urban Angels, i'm not working at mo and kids are not at school so thought it would be good way of saving them some money and i'd love to see them on an advert or mag! will, see how they get on though as there is obviously no point doing it if they don't enjoy it. do you know what agency your friends kid is with?

Hi - I used to work for a photographers agent in London for 6 years - all commercial and advertising photography (banks, all the Utility providers etc). We used a number of babies and kids on different shoots, Urban Angels were good. We also used Alphabet Kids, MOT kids - very good, Scallywags, BMA kids, bubblegum.. I'll have a think of some more. They prefer you to live nearish to London -as most commercial shoots happen in studios or on location in London. You obviously don't want too much travel and a tired child. if you have twins even better, as clients often use 2 or 3 children as you can never determin how they will behave on the day! shout if you want any more info.

I've always admired the pictures of your children - they're adorable.
My OH often says to me i should sign Maddy up to an agency - but i know that it's hard work on the mum and i just don't have the time or energy for it.
Good for you though - hope you make lots and lots for their bank accounts
