my heart missed a beat

I had just run upstairs to take some washing up and left Izzy downstairs but didn't realise she started to come up on her own, well I heard a thud ran to the stairs just to see that she had slipped and fell the whole way down from almost at the top headfirst. It was awful, luckily she seems absolutely fine, after a long cuddle on the sofa she is now watching In the night garden with her comforter.

I feel like I need a stiff drink to settle my nerves - god this parenting thing is hard.
