Question I can't hold her up while I'm swimming

Was swimming with katie and got a bit too deep - I lifted myself to swim and hold katie at the same time and had to yell for OH who was right next to us at least...

Any tips?? I can't do it - tis worrying. I just kind of went under with her above me...

How do you swim while holding a baby/toddler???

I'll need to work on that Abbie. I'm not a good swimmer which is why I have Chris at waterbabies. Will try to piggy back thing with katie, though I suspect it will be more glug glug than swim swim for me there too... Thanks hon xxx

you could get one of those woggles, you know the long floatie thing. put it under your arms, so keeps top bit of you more floaty, that may help if your going to piggy back xxx

I piggy back Rhys or get him to put his arms over two woggles and I hold the ends of them in front of him and I swim on my back if that makes sense... When he was wee I could swim on my back with him on my chest
