Default Buggies......

We're using our Mountain Buggy loads which is great but it does get a bit heavy sometimes loading in and out the car when we just wanna 'pop' places - so we're looking to get a little buggy that's lightweight and easy to put up etc, but still comfy for Isabelle. Can anyone recommend one?

Thanks x

I really like the Quinny buggies, altho I don't have one, they seem great for nipping out on short trips. I especially like this one

Quinny Zapp 3-wheeler stroller - Black : mothercare

and would love one but can't justify another pushchair. Its on special at the moment too.

We've used a Maclaren Quest since Izzy was 4 months old and it is fab, so light and easy to manouvre and has survived five trips on a plane so far.

She sleeps in it even now.

we just bought a quinny zapp for £50 from ebay and its like brand new. Hubby loves it for nipping into town and things, very good for round shops but not for anywhere without proper paths!

We bought a Quest to take on holiday and we really like it, it's lightweight and comfortable and has a decent sized shopping basket.

We had a Quest for holiday and it was fab. Never used it since though. Have loaned it to my friend for her holiday.

We also bought a quinny zap couple weeks ago, it is sooooo light and folds soooo small for the car. Finn loves it too cos he can see everything thats going on, great for just nipping here and there x

We have a Zapp too, great for nipping out and about, super light weight and folds very small, also very snug with the foot muffs that are like a sleeping bag, not so great for longer trips that my involve a nap as it doesn't recline.

we were going to buy a Maclaren for our last holiday but John Lewis didn't have the colour I wanted so I ended up buying a Minnie Mouse Pushchair from Argos, it was reduced from £74.99 to £24.99 and it really is a fab little buggy. I'm sure it's made by Cosatto and I have seen it for it's full price but for £24.99 it has swivel wheels, came with raincover etc, and the seat reclines and it is a dream to push - very light and easy. We've since ditched her proper pushchair and just use this as she prefers it (could be because it's pink) anyhow I'd definitely recommend it and Argos still have them on offer for £24.99

Thumbs up

Thanks for your replies ladies

I've been hearing so much good stuff about the Maclaren's Quest! I love the look of the Quinny's too but they are a bit pricey (seeing as our Moutain Buggy was expensive we wanted something cheaper) - do the Quests look good too?

They seem to have it all as they recline too don't they?

Oooh, I'm excited - we may just have to get one!!

Any other tips on buggies would be great - or any more feedback on the Quest would be good too.

Thanks again ! x
