Question Crying if someone else picks her up......

Another prob I'm afraid!

Not sure if this is a 'stage' or whether it's just Isabelle's personality but from, I'd say about 6 months old, (she's now coming up to 10 months) she doesn't like anyone but me or hubby to pick her up! She loves the attention from others, flirts and babble saway to them - but if they to pick her up or take her from my arms she cries and just wants to come back to me.

Is it something she'll grow out of?

Thanks x

(PS. It's also a bit embarrasing as she does this to her nan's! Admittedly she doesn't see them all the time - probably every couple of weeks but has to be in their company for over an hour before they can pick her up and even then she'll only allow it briefly and constantly looking to me for reassurance and looking uncomfortable).

Jess used to cry everytime she saw my dad but it was because she didn't see him that much, she sees him 3 times a week now so it really helped.

I think maybe Izzy is going through a clingy phase hun, sure it will pass soon xxx

Tom went through a stage of this, he is fine now. Really upset my mum because he would do it with her, funny how babies suddenly decide when they do or dont like people!!

Will's screams hysterically when MIL goes near here, Mil is starting to get a complex

I reckon it's just a phase too.

Chris isn't fussed who picks him up, even fell asleep on Ellie's man at the weekend (well done himmm a MILLION brownie points there ) BUT whenever he sees me atm he crawls towards me and clings to my legs. ALL the time. ALLLLLL the time. It's driving me completely insane. Try loading a washing machine and a drier at the other side of the room, with a clingy baby's vice-like grip eating away at your soul via your knees. Grr! Ovens and dishes are interesting with said clingon, and taking Katie to the loo is getting to be difficult as he keeps whacking his head off the toilet bowl...

So yes it is a phase. This better be a fcuking phase too.
