A stressful few weeks!

Well, we finally made it across the pond!! Left the UK on Sept 26th and have been living in Times Sq for the past few weeks which in itself has been crazy and no normality iykwim. We ALL got really sick. Oliver first with virus & a5 days of a fever, it peaked one night at 103.5 and he was shaking etc it was absolutely terrifying & I called the dr who said sounds like his fevr is breaking & not to worry (yeah right!!) anyway he was right & the next day he started to get better each day. Then OH and I both got sick we were literally taking it in turn to go to bed. Oliver got to watch the Tv so he was happy!!!! We thought we had gotten Oliver's virus but turns out we both had upper respiratory infections & got antibiotics. The Dr said my throat / chest was much worse than OH's!!!! Of course he was the one who spent the most time in bed!!!! Men eh. We finally moved into our own place last weekend & things have calmed down. Tis good to be back here, although i'm already worrying (secretly) if we can live here forever!!!! I have logged on every now & again to keep up with everyones news. x

Definately sounds like a stressful few weeks! Gosh. So much going on! Why are you worrying if you can live there forever??

Living in Times Square .... sounds cool!!!!!
Easy access to Toys R US for Oliver!!!! (was in NY few months ago, stayed in Times Square!!!!)

Once you settle down and get into a routine, you will feel better. As far as living in one place forever-you never know what life brings you so take it one day at a time and enjoy the here and now.

You're right - who knows why I am even thinking about if I can or want to live here forever!!!! I'm just stressed I guess & panicking if we've done the right thing as miss my family etc

It's mad how quickly we've gotten back into the swing of things again!!
