Default Can anything be done about this????

Sorry in advance a bit graphic but need to get sorted...

OK, since we converted Joseph's cot to a bed he keeps having a poo somewhere between 9pm and 9.30pm. This is kind of making him stay awake even when he is dog tired and obviously I don't want him to go to sleep with a poo in his nappy.

Today he had 2 poos earlier in the day so I thought he'd be OK, but I've just nipped in his room thinking he was asleep so as to tuck him and turn the light off but he was up and had pooed.

Not sure what I can do, is it phsycological (sp) ??

I've found since my lo has become aware of pooping etc she waits till she's on her own or shuffles off somewhere private to do her business. She went through a phase for a couple of months there when she'd without fail poop within 30 minutes of being put to bed at night, shout on us, we'd change her and she'd go asleep. Think they just like a bit of privacy!

I have to tell Isabella to poo every morning. Seriously she has her breakfast, showers and then I pop a nappy on and a vest and tell her to poo. She'll say "hokay Mummy" and I have to leave her in her bedroom to do the deed. If I don't tell her she doesn't do it which I find weird. Sometimes she plays happily for ten minutes and I shout "Isabella have you done a poo?" and she'll shuffle off to her corner with a book or get in the dolly pram (another preferred pooing spot)

Maybe try leaving him in his room for some quiet time before bedtime and tell him to do a poo then? They do seem to like privacy

jessimae is really random, but when she does go its a real performance... she HAS to have a sofa end to hold.... shes not to fussed about anyone watching, although if you try and talk to her she shakes her head and shouts no.

You'll be phoning her at her house when she's 24 getting ready for work and saying "go poo"

I can't think what to do SM...maybe give him an orange after dinner to see if that gets things moving faster

Could you try getting him to sit on the potty before his bath to encourage him to do one?

I had an estate agent round last week to look at our house and Iz was sleeping and I thought she normally does her poo when she wakes from her nap but I opened the door to her room so the agent could see the size and the smell hit me, it was v embarrassing!!!
