We have the P&T's, which is fab for whizzing around the shops, getting in doorways ect, but we are also going to get a side by side now Will's is that much older purely for when we go for walks so the girls can sit and chat away to each other and hold hands awwww.
Saying that you mentioned the bus, the P&T'S is quite heavy when folded so i think you would struggle to get it on and off the bus when it is folded plus having 2 littleones to hold. |

I have one of each.....
Side by side.... lil baby is in easy reach of grabbing (bummer when they just go off to sleep)... its a real pain in arse for shopping, i was amazed at how many shops i couldnt even get in! also its big in my boot as it folds together not umbrella, so its standing up iyswim.. but you can add car seat to mine, and now they are older its nice for them to sit next to each other... The p&t is easy for shopping, very versitile you can change them around if one is sleeping etc.. its easier to push when lo decides to walk (and its handy for them to hold the back wilst walking... its lovely for new borns (livvy always looked lost in side by side but so cosy in the cocoon... but it is heavy, if you can get the pram on bus without having to fold p&t will be easier... if i had to start again i would 100% get p&t ![]() hope that helpsxxxxx |

i don't really like the look of the P&T and that the bubs in the back is almost on the floor
also when i get on the bus i leave mia in her buggy i don't fold it up, we go in the section for wheelchairs, though the isles are ridiculously narrow, how a wheelchair would get through i have no idea |

Hi Hun
Don't know much about double buggies but do go on the bus quite a lot and I personally think there is no way you get a P&T on there unless you folded it up. You could poss get it on if you went through the back doors rather than by the driver but there would only be space in that disabled wheelchair bit if there were no other buggies on there whereas you can fit about 3 single Maclarens in there. My friend tried to take her Bugaboo on the bus and it got stuck in the aisle and I would say those P&T things look as wide as a Bugaboo. I think any double buggy would be hard on a bus, what about when you use the bus using a baby carrier sling thing and having Mia in the buggy and then if she wanted to walk using the buggy for new little bubba while you are out. Obviously only having the one child myself no idea how practical this is am sure the other ladies will tell me if it is ridiculous to have one baby in the carrier and push the buggy as well. Sorry for butting in with probably useless advice!!! Anna xx |

think the sling can work, depends on weight of bubba.... Livvy very quickly became a bit heavy to carry and shes not that big..... but on occasions you know your getting the bus... ? we need a big meet so you can see them all in action

Some horrible drivers though just don't even acknowledge you and won't open the doors if they already have a buggy on there even though I would be totally prepared to fold it up Grrrrrrrr Last edited by Anna07 : 17-10-08 at 11:37. Reason: didn't finish my sentence whoops... |

i don't have that problem but a lot of the drivers don't lower the bus so i can't get the buggy off without asking for help and no-one offers to help either!! |
