I think Izzy may be scared of the dark. She has started waking in the night the last couple of nights and been really crying but fine as soon as I open the door and go in to her.
Last night at half three I decided to try not going in but just opening her door and putting the landing light on and she settled herself back down ok. Wondered have any others of you had this problem and what did you do. Am thinking of getting a nightlight but not sure if this will provide enough light. We have a clock radio in there already with a light on it but this doesn't seem enough. Thanks. |

i think Mia's scared of the dark too babe coz she does the same as Izzy, she already has 2 night lights but they don't give enough light so on her window sil i've put some pink fairy lights which aren't very bright at all and i leave these on and she seems to be doing a lot better, but would one of these be any good for Izzy? i've only got fairy lights coz she can't get to them or the wire xx

Thanks Bubba that looks good, I just get paranoid about leaving lamps and stuff on overnight but I guess the bulbs in these things are really low watt or whatever it is so don't heat up too much. Maybe I'll try fairy lights.
I don't want to keep leaving landing light on as our bedroom door doesn't close properly so makes it too light for me in there. May go tonight on way home from work as we have Mothercare and Argos nearby. |
