hitting etc

I'm a bit upset tonight... my LO is normally good-natured but since MIL came to stay on Sat, he has been chucking things at her and going to hit her etc.
Have to explain here that she is very sweet lady, in 80s from Iran (Speaks no English) - she has only spent a week with Aram before when he was really little and what with her age, the distance etc (and travelling there is fraught with all kinds of practical difficulties) means this may well be the only time she has with him - and she absolutely adores him.
Plus, tonight while having his bedtime boob (yes, they still work but only at bedtime), he bit my nipple - twice!
I really got upset about it but I think I'm also stressed keeping the house nice and generally trying to make her feel at home...
I'm wondering if its something to do with him picking up on my stress... she will prob stay for a couple of months and she's no trouble but I do like my routine and its thrown it right off, so I'm feeling a bit out of control.
Have been doing time out with LO but he doesn't really cry, just whimpers a bit and this afternoon he was soooo grizzly.
Ah, just needed a bit of a rant here but any suggestions appreciated

oh bless him, if you feel out of routine i would imagine Aram does too, and as he cant express himself hes just telling you he feels "out of routine" by acting out.

He will settle down sweetie, los dont do change well, and i imagine an elderly lady living in your house who i imagine is so trying to get Arams attention, is freaking him out abit!

Just play it cool, lots of hugs when hes good and ignore the bad behaviour as much as you can, he will come roundxxxxxxx

He can whack my MIL if he needs to vent hon.

Isabella hits when she's frustrated/tired/angry. It's horrible and I always follow it up by giving her some quiet time in her cot. It's nearly always down to her being overtired and is resolved by her sleeping and waking up lovely again.

Hope he settles soon. Try not to worry about him as it's very normal for toddlers and he'll get used to mil being there ((hugs)) xx

Thanks for all that ladies... especially since I haven't been on the forum much recently. He's still doing it but mil is trying to make us not fret (apparently OH used to do it to her all the time)... and I'm feeling more relaxed. It's just a bit of shock to see him grow up into a boisterous toddler.
