Dion goes to bed at around 7:30 and then wakes up between 6:30/7am. He usually will have one nap late morning for about 1 hour and a half xx

Finlay goes to bed at 7pm and sleeps through until about 6.30/7, sometimes he wakes earlier but he knows get up time isn't until 7am so either he'll play and chat or go back to sleep. He has a 45min nap in the morning after breakfast at about 8.45 as there is no way on earth at the minute he would last until lunchtime without this and then sleeps for 1 and a half-2 hours after lunch at about 12.30. Usually it's just an hour and a half, bad days it can just be 40 mins but on the whole it's the full hour and a half. I was told that a rule of thumb for getting bubba's to sleep through is ensuring they have the right amount of sleep in the day but every LO is different. They say for the ages of 6-12 months they should sleep for no more than 3 hours in the day but no less than 2 hours or they become overtired or not sleepy enough!! So Finlay seems to have his right quota as come bedtime, he has his milk and then crashes out on me whilst having a cuddle!! And that's it for the night (unless teething like at the moment where he can be up anywhere up to 7 times a night!!!!!)

My LO is 2 days older than yours I think and he goes to bed at 6.15 (doesnt stay asleep mind you, but thats a different story!)... I usually take him upstairs for a bath at 5.30, by the time he's done and then fed its 6.15 and he's practically asleep.

And hes up in the morning between 6.30 and 7.30, it varies day to day. I couldnt keep him up til 9 if I tried - sometimes hes tired at 5.00 and I take him up for his bath then. But whatever works for you... all babies are different, just like their parents

Isabella goes to bed at 7pm and wakes anytime between 8am and 10am. This morning I woke her at 10.30 the lazy stinker!

At 7 months old she was waking twice in the night.

Ethan goes to bed anytime between 7:30pm & 9:30pm depending on when he get's tired. He wakes anytime between 7am & 9am (the later he goes to bed the later he wakes). He naps twice a day but not at set times, just whenever he needs to.

Not the strictest routine but it works for us. He's slept through since he was 5 weeks old (more through luck than management!).

xxxxxxx

Hey girls thanks for all the replies. I think I may keep to Naya's existing sleep time for the moment but maybe try and reduce it to say 8:30. She's been sleeping through the night since 2 months old and I don't want to mess that up! I'm not going back to work until Feb so I manage for now.
