I have a brother but he is not a baby person, especially as Alex is drooling with his teething lol! When we have been at our friends house the lads have taken Alex off me so he didnt feel left out as its normally us girls having a natter and the lads and their kids. But the more this happens the more he is saying dad!
Thanks. His dad just isnt interested. x x |

grrrrrr men make me so mad!!!
![]() at least you get maintenance but i bet its small. maybe when he says dad you say mummy? i do this with thomas to try and get him to say it! i really dont have any advice. Its a such a shame but when he's older he'll know that his mummy has always been there since day one. Think your doing right as you say your doing saying poport so he knows he's there just not here if you know what i mean. sorry hun, no help at all just witter!! xxxxxxxxxx |

oh sweetie pie bless you and (((((((hugs)))))))
He doesnt deserve alex anyway with a horrible attitude like that. If he's grown up enough to 'be intimate' (!) with someone then he should be grown up enough to take the consequences of his actions, what ever they may be. He's missing out and he'll prob realise this somewhere down the line just not sure when. xxx but by then alex will prob go and tell him to get stuffed!!!! xxxx |

I aggree with Alex's mum, do you have a family memeber who could do all the daddy things with your LO? My hubby was like that with is nephew, he did'nt have a dad so my hubby was like his, he even called him dada. Even though he has a step dad now he still is close to him and does lots with him, it helped him in those early years, personally unless the father makes the effort himself i think you might be wasting your time on this ungratful *******, beth xxxx

. I have sent his dad an email letting him know this and not heard anything back. Anyway can anyone offer any advice or help with this situation. Alex sees his little friends with their dads quite a lot and Im fearing this will encourage Alex even more to ask about his dad!
