Hey hun

Could i ask a question? Its feels really odd talking about it but as your a nurse you maybe able to help lol. Alex's testicles are really red, is this normal? He is 19 months now. On 2 occassions he has cried and complained about his "tinkle". Is this something I need to be concerned about? He isnt ill.

Freddie doesn't have red balls & he never complains of them at all. i would get them checked out, its probably nothing but best to be sure. actually whilst we on the subject of little boy bits, have you ever pulled back his foreskin, i remember the midwife said not to clean under there & i never ever have. when are we allowed to or should we not do anything with it. do you know? i must ask my HV about this next time i see her. i've always wondered what to do for the best with his nether regions. lolxx

Dont know much about this but my DH had trouble with his foreskin as a child with pulling it back etc,he tells me stories of salt water baths because of his problems,i do think it might be easier for a male to do this and i would talk to a DR or HV on when and how.

Hi everyone. Took Alex to the drs and she couldnt see anything wrong. He had to do a urine sample to check for an infection (my god what a nightmare that was lol) and the results have just come back as normal. Alex's dad had to have a circumsision (sp) a few years back so I thought maybe it could have been something to do with that. Mailed him to ask him and how concerned i was about Alex and suprise suprise he never bothered getting back to

So it looks like he must have had a few uncomfortable moments down there and its sorted itself out
