Sterilisation

I asked my Dr about being sterilised and he told me no as I am too young and may want more children. I really don't want anymore. Don't think I could cope! I've had 3 prem babies, group b step, pre term rupture of fluids, breech baby, 2 c sections, misscarrige I could go on....

Has anyone else been 'done' or considered it?

No experience hon but I hope you get the answers you want!
I understand why they say too young but surely after 3 children and your history they should understand and respect your wishes!

Hey Hun a friend of mine was sterilised last year she is 30 and has 3 children think it should be your choice, you have been through so much. Agree about hubby although if I mention it to mine he adamantly says NO!!

Think its fair enough for u to ask dr as you're got three kids!

I've been reading a few old posts on here and I meet my friends neighbour who was sterilised at my age and sadly lost her husband and then met someone else and would of liked another baby. Maybe I will hold off for a while.

What about the coil??

I have the mirena coil for the last two years now and have had no problems with it at all (and no periods

)

It lasts five years at a time so might be a good option for you.
