Hi ladies,
I'm Marli from Asthma UK. This forum is so impressive as a way for people to get support and have a community around parenting - it's really great to see. We've come up with a new campaign that will hopefully offer something similar but in a different way - we want people to put their asthma stories on our interactive map. These stories will help us see what are the biggest issues for people with asthma and then we can do our best to help! We'd love it if you could go onto the map and share your story, or encourage others to do so. How does asthma make you feel? Get it off your chest. We've already had more than 100 parents of children with asthma tell us their stories - about missing school, PE classes, and concerns around medicines, for example. One mum, lalakuta, told us about her two sons, both of whom have asthma. "But no matter how hard life gets at home or at school or out and about, my two little boys keep smiling and have hope." You can read more of her story here: How does asthma make you feel? Get it off your chest. Tell us your story and help us shape our work, so that we can do more for you. Thanks for reading and have a lovely weekend everyone! Marli |
