Help me see past rose tinted glasses

I know, it's just in my head, there are many of you on here that are on my FB that I haven't actually "met" and I trust you lot I just never think that someone like that would befriend "me" iyswim, like I say, way too trusting for my own good sometimes He messaged me back saying that he totally understood and hoped he hadn't offended me by sending a message on there in the first place. Feel awful but like you say, you can't be too careful and better to be safe than sorry xx

Totally get where you are coming from. I would have been reluctant to accept his friend request too, but like you, i have people on fb that i havent actually met. Its tricky isnt it.

I agree with what you said earlier - fb is much more personal than twitter. Have got into twitter more recently, but am much more of a celeb stalker than an active participant!

i recently had a friend request on FB from a guy i used to go to Primary School with, so we're talking 30 years ago since i clapped eyes on him. I don't know how he found me though (i've married so he wouldn't know my married name) - i did respond to his inital message to say "yes i remember you" etc, but i don't want to be his "friend" coz lets face it, he could now be a total nutter, paedo, rapist etc who just wants to perv at my photos or whatever. So no i wouldn't accept anyone that i don't know and has asked to be your friend.
