Default Bed Guard

Can anyone help with what bed guards fit Mamas and Papas cot beds please? I bought a mothercare one today which said it was suitable for cot beds but it just doesn't fit properly no matter what we do. We've had to wedge it in there for tonight!

I wasn't planning on changing her cot into a bed just yet as she was fine in the cot but we bought a blow up bed to take on holiday with us but when we got there she went straight to the single bed and said is this my bed mummy? So I had to go and hire a bed guard while on holiday! Then when we got home today she said I don't want to sleep in my baby bed anymore I want to sleep in a big bed! So I had to go out and buy a bloomin bed guard only to find it didn't fit!

Thanks x

I would try her without it. I had a bedguard for Matthew and it ruined the bed, distorted the wooden bedframe.

For Hannah, I just put a pillow under the bedsheet at the edge of the bed so that when she rolls over she rolls up against it and she knows it is the edge. Because it is under the sheet, she can't push it out or move it so it stays in place. She moved into a big bed just before she was two and she has never fallen out yet.

We have never bothered with a bed guard either. I like the idea of putting a pillow under the sheet though. That would work. x

Thanks everyone. I wasn't sure whether she needed a guard or not but oh insisted. She does a lot of fidgeting in bed though so i think thats what he's worried about, we found her hanging out of the bed last night! I know she'd get used to it but she's still so little

Will see how she gets on with the bodge one we've got. Thanks again everyone Xxx

Ah bless him! Yeah I'm thinking it may have been a waste of money. However as it doesn't fit properly I think I can still take it back as it's the second one we've had from 2 different shops and I took the other one back with no problems. Will see how we get on x
