Default potty training books

Can anyone recommend any good potty training books please? We done really well for a while but when I wasn't well at the end of last year it just went completely backwards and now she won't even sit on the potty. I don't want to rush things but just thought there might be some books to help things?

Thanks x

Are you after a book for adults or kids? We had a ladybird Pirate Pete one which was quite good: theres a princess one for girls. Also have seen the Dora potty one and its quite good.

Personally, I had success with Rhys with a star chart (1 star for a wee and 5 stars for a poo) but he was just over 3 so he "got" the concept.

And a few bags of Milky Way magic stars: again: one for a wee and five for a poo. Had to do this choccy thing for abt 3 days: often his "poo" came out as a few separate bits so he tried counting each piece as worth 5... No chance!

Worked well with us as Rhys really into numbers and he liked counting his stars.

We're at this stage with Callum now. Logan did it a month after his 3rd birthday with no problem and was dry at night straight away too. Being that bit older he understood. So we haven't rushed Callum with it but he's so different, completely refuses to sit on potty. Even Logan tries to encourage him by going to the toilet at the same time. He doesn't care if he has a wet or dirty nappy and would happily sit in it for ages! Will just have to keep trying, don't want to upset him with too much pressure.
Interested to see how you get on, sorry I don't have any advice!

Freddie won't go near the potty at all. He will sit on it fully dressed if I am at the bathroom myself, but shows absolutley no interest in using it himself. I'm just leaving it till he wants to do so himself - am hoping he might be ready in the summer as that would be the ideal time, but for now I just ask sometimes if he wants to use it if he is noticably doing something in his nappy. Ofc he says no but we don't make a big deal of it, it's just like a question made in passing and that's it. I think when they are ready they will do it but until then all you can do is let them get there in their own time.

Thanks everyone. Yes was looking for a book for Chloe, will have a look at the ladybird one but I know she'll do it in her own time. Have seen somewhere where you can print off your own little book some might save my money and just do that x
