Hama beads get everywhere though, we had them when Ellie was little and I kept finding them for years... even after we moved house!

You can get those ones... Aqua beads, that you spray with water and they stick together!

Evan got lots of stuff for the back garden for his 4th birthday as we had only moved here 6 months before and we didnt have a garden at the old house. A bike sounds like a good idea though

we would have got garden stuff as we haven't got any garden toys for them atm but the garden is being dug-up and turfed in a few weeks and then we're having a 'pub' built at the back of the garden so it's kinda not gonna be child friendly out there for them till summer really

we're thinking of getting her a nintendo DS with some educational type games

Oliver has just turned 4 and we got him the mini kick micro scooter. He got Hama beads too which do get everywhere but they are great. He also loves the Usborne sticker books. x
