The Ikea "Billy" system range is good and not expensive. The white bookcase is great for only £20 IKEA | Bookcases | BILLY system | BILLY | Bookcase

the billy range system is massive - have a look through it all...

otherwise, do you know someone who can help put sheves up - DIY SOS style! that way you can do yourself in terms of measuring the space and sections for exactly what you need. only needs some MDF, screws and brackets, a spirit level and some white paint!

We just have some shelves like these Buy 5 Shelf Unfinished Pine Multi-use Slatted Storage Unit. at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for . (OH cut them in half so they fit under our stairs and Evan can get to them all) and then I brought some of those cheap plastic tubs from Tesco and all (well most!!!) of Evan's toys are on there. You can paint them any colour and buy any colour tubs or even some pretty baskets to sit on them. A very cheap way of creating some storage!

Blimey Carla, that second one is a bit pricey Think the one RM has put up is a good one and you could buy some boxes to put the toys in and store them and make it look neater. Toys do my head in. Have just spent all day yesterday sorting Finlay's room. When we moved in, his room looked huge but now it's cluttered beyond belief!! Have changed it all round as best I can but still looks so stuffed full of plastic crap Not enough wall space to put storage units in either. Am hoping we win the lottery so we can do the extension and get a play room downstairs!!

We're getting the smaller version (ie, just 4 squares) but you can add to it as you go along and get boxes to go on it.

I think you never have enough storage, no matter how prepared you are! Toys & books just keep growing!

I hate visible crap.

I would get someone in to make some fitted cupboards with lots of shelving/drawers inside. OH made cool built in toy storage in isabellas wardrobe from mdf and sprayed it white, looks good and even when it gets messy inside you shut the doors and it looks grand. I put photos on blog but they were cheap as chips to make materials wise.
