Default Potty Training and Going Out?

Ok so Mia has been using the potty since Thurs (YAY) and has had no accidents (YAY) but we haven't been out at all, we've stayed in while she's been learning and i've only had her dressed in a top to make things easy for her.

BUT today we have to go out, i need to get some food shopping and go to the bank so how on earth am i going to do this?? do i take the potty with us??

Up to u. In supermarkets they have toilets. Will she use public toilets? Georgia wouldnt till recently. I am probably the wrong person to advise as we still arent there properly She is a lot better now tho.

Its good to get them into a habit of going before u go out. Georgia now goes wee then puts her shoes on.

I'd just explain to Mia that you are going out where there is a toilet and see how she goes. She might be fine.

xxx

If she doesn't like to use the toilet I'd take the potty but take a trip to the loos in supermarket to go myself & see if the novelty of using the toilet in a different place will get her to use it...if she won't it's no big deal but you've shown her for future where you can go whilst you're out.

well we were out for about an hour and i kept asking her every 15mins or so if she needed a wee and the whole time we were out she didn't wee herself so that was brilliant. She didn't go for awee at all while we were out but pee'd on her potty as soon as we got home, so proud of her
