A quick query

I'm getting the implant inserted tomorrow as my OH and myself are not planning on any more children for a couple of years and am just after some information on it from anyone who has/had the implant

So, firstly am thinking of the procedure and know that a local local anaesthetic is used and am wondering how much of my arm is going to numb????

Secondly, has anyone had any problems with it at all?

Think that is all at the moment

My friend had it, no probs at all although it was unpleasant when it came to removing it and scarred her arm.

She wasn't bothered by it at all but freaked me out how bad the scarring was!

Good to hear she didn't have any problems.......am abit concerned about the scarring but my GP did say there would be a small scar though

Good luck with getting it implanted today! I know a couple of people who have had the implant - one got on fine with it, the other had irregular bleeding, weight gain and acne so she really didnt get on with it at all!

Like all methods of contraception, everyone has their own experiences and get on with different methods.

Thank you both......have now got it in wasn't as bad as I thought it would having it inserted, think I may start a new bandage fashion trend though
