Default multivit recommendations...

If you use these with your kid, what do you use?

I bought Haliborange liquid with fish oils and Rhys spat it out: its quite vile. Then last week I bought him the Haliborange multivit, iron and calcium tablets that you chew Vitamins forumated for growing kids from Haliborange and he hated them.

I think i ahve the only child that also wont eat jelly sweets which most multivits are for this age! He tries them every week in mums n tots but after a brief lick gives them to me....

He will eat dolly mixtures which are the sweets I give to the kids at the end of teh songtime I take so anything of this texture would be ideal... Any ideas?

The vits arent cheap and its a waste paying out for something taht he only will try once!!!

Any chance you could get the vits in a liquid form? I know they do them here with a little dropper but i've never used them. x

Evan had some orange flavour chewy ones before, cant remember what brand they were though, maybe Bassetts They had 2 orange kinda blobby people on the front of the box. I just got them from Wilkinsons.

I had to buy them because whenever I took my contraceptive pill in the morning Evan kept asking for his tablets, then one day I caught him munching on them and he had 6 tablets (they were on top of the microwave I would like to add, but he got a chair and stood on it to get them) I rang the doctor and she laughed at me and said I dont think it will have much of an effect on him.

I use Abidec drops with Leo.
They taste quite strange, but leo has never had a problem taking them. When he was younger i ued to put the drops in his food, but he justs takes them straight now. He cannot want everyday.

so maybe give them a try

Finlay has Bassets soft and chewy vits now but he's also had minadex i think it's called, liquid form, tastes of orange (apparently, Finlay wasn't impressed and refused to take it)

I don't give Joseph any vitamins, he eats a good varied diet with plenty of fruit & veg so don't really see the need. However, I am sure that there are a lot of chewy type pastilles about no?
