Default what board games are you playing with your 3 yr old?

Following on from the book thread, thought I'd ask abt games to get ideas. This is what we play...

We have just opened this after getting it months ago:
Thomas & Friends Windy Day Rescue Board Game: Amazon.co.uk: Toys & Games

Despite the poor reviews, Rhys has been playing it all day! Its not a bad introduction to board games.

The other board game he's mega into (and I mean MEGA...) is Paul Lamond Games Thomas Giant Snakes & Ladders: Amazon.co.uk: Toys & Games

We play it at least 5 times a day....

Also do match/pairs, did play snap ages ago a lot but havent recently and have this: Classic Colour Matching Game - Early Learning Centre which is good.

Also play Elefun and dominos (with the proper dots!) Tesco have a good metal box of dominos which is like £3 with white pieces with black dots

Evan hasnt really got any board games *bad mummy* I just havent really thought about getting them for him. Think I will have to look into it.....

oooh saying that, we do have a kind of kerplunk type game that was given to us, but he doesnt really play it.

And I am loving the Thomas games that Hian posted. Evan is Thomas obsessed and as that first game is only £2.50, I think I might order that one now!

think we got ours in asda: for £2.50 its worth it.

we asked my bro to get rhys elefun for xmas as DH and I used to love board games when we were wee and thought some of these games would intorduce rhys to idea of playing them and taking turns and that you win sometimes but sometimes you dont! Having said that, he has learnt how to cheat at some of them....

We haven't really played board games yet. Tilly likes playing Guess Who. We also play picture dominoes, snap and matching pairs card games. And we won an Orchard Toys game from this website, called Fruit Frenzy, which is fun!

we haven't played board games yet, we played snap the other day, had to give her lots of hints when it was time to say snap but she thought it was hilarious.

Oliver loves playing board games

he got given an Orchard Toys game for his 3rd and birthday and since then we have had to buy him lots more! We play every night before bed and during the day too!

we have too many Orchard Toys ones to list them all but they are all great!

we also have hungry hippos, buckaroo and kerplunk! He has great fun playing these! But the fisrt time we played buckaroo it made him jump and he was quite frightened!

we also play snap!
x
