Shoe Box Appeal

Hi All,

Just a quickie and please don't feel like you have to take part, but Livy's Nursery is taking part in the Shoe Box appeal this year and I thought I'd let you girls know about it.

This cause enables normal people like you and me to fill ordinary shoe boxes with small toys, school supplies, sweets, and other gifts for needy children around the world.
Operation Christmas Child sends a message of hope to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes which I thinks really sweet and it doesn't cost much to fill and wrap a box for a child that doesn't get any presents at Christmas. I did my shoebox last week.

My Mum works in a school and they always run this so we fill a few.

We had lots of fun shopping and bought loads of little bits like magic gloves, playing cards, sweeties.

It is a great cause and I love picking the stuff and knowing that it will go to someone who needs it. A really personal donation xx

I do it every year and doing one at the moment x The pound shops great for gifts and i have a rumage in my house.I ask people for items as well, everyone is so giving xx lovely idea for those who really need things xxx

I took Ben out yesterday to buy some bits for his, I think it's really good to get them thinking about giving and how fortunate we are, he still boasts about sending his shoes to africa bless him xxx

we do one every year sending katlin to nursery ready with her shoe box today the nice thing with her nursery is ther send videos and photos of there shoe boxes been recieved back to us
