i too had to wind Imo half way through cuz of her reflux but i cant say it made alot of difference, i was just scared that if i did'nt do it then she would be sick. I think i stopped when she sat up unaided as that is when she started to burp by herself. Give it a go and see how he is, he might suprise you!! Beth xxxx

Molly had really bad reflux until she started on solids but is still sick sometimes. To be honest I still wind her if I can get her to sit still for long enough but if I don't manage to she tends to burp herself, sometimes bringing a bit of sick up and sometimes ok. She only has 1 bottle in the morning now so it's not too bad.

He does burp himself and laughs!! But it's more at bedtime (he only has 2 bottles a day now, breakfast and bedtime), I worry that if I don't he'll be sick in his sleep so just wondered whether anyone else is doing the same. He hates it you see and gets really upset when I try to wind him cos he just wants to cuddle in and go to sleep on me but like I say, I worry that if I don't he will be sick in his sleep and choke or something, am I being a touch para??

Mia had a reflux until she was 6 1/2-7 months old and then it fixed itself but I still wind her halfway through her bottles just so she doesn't get pains in her tummy. The odd time I didn't wind her though she will just let out the biggest burp you have ever heard herself, it's so funny
Compliments too the chef, that's what I say
