well ive started with Sophie and she loves it, especially the little rice cakes you can get and they go all soggy very messy and she has bits of sandwiches to munch on and i can honestly say she hasnt choked ,gagged a little but she sorts it out and has munching down to a T oh and cucumber without the skin but just makes sure your bubba is ok at holding things

Jessimae was about 7/8months and with hind sight i think this was too late, she was too used to puree and struggled with the finger foods... i was paranoid about choking and this really put me off giving her finger foods! we had a baby safe feeder which was fab, next time round i will give finger foods earlierxxx

Finlay was about 6 months, possibly a little younger, started with easy squidgy stuff like bread and dairylea as he sucked it to death so no fear of choking. Just try things that dissolve easily first, The Organix range is great, Finlay loves the carrot sticks and tomato wheels and sweetcorn rings!! They are like wotsits in texture so just dissolve in the mouth so you don't have to worry too much, then just ntroduce other things when you feel your LO is more confident at chewing. HTH xx
