Abigail is 28 and the other name we were considering Poppy is 29...!!!

I thought Isobel was more common that Abigail but it is only 58...I am sure it depends on where you live though as there are quite a few Isobels round here.

I think maybe the different spellings of the same names are listed separately are they? I read somewhere that Mohamed would be the second most popular name if all the different variations of the spelling were counted together.

yes they are Isabelle is 18 and Isobel is 58.

Eininsmum - can you tell us how some of the names are pronounced on the Irish list? I know Niamh and Aiofe but there are some others that look that they may be lovely as well!
