Default Why?

For the last 2 weeks Tom has decided to wake up at 530am on the dot every morning. He will have a bottle and go back to sleep so I figured that he must be hungry and started to give him ready brek before bed. This has not worked either and he is still waking up early! He has gone off his lumpy food a bit and put it down to another bout of teething. Can anyone suggest anything to stop him waking early or do I just have to wait for him to sort it himself?

Thanks
xxxx

No suggestions hun, just a bit of Mummy solidarity from me!

Ethan was waking at 2:00am everynight up until 2 nights ago. We tried keeping him up longer, feeding him later, wrapping him warmer etc but I think it was just down to teething and he'd also had a cold and a rash.

We just rode it out and eventually he's started sleeping theough again!

Sending you some ((((((Big Hugs)))))) and hope you and Thomas get some more sleep veeery soon!

xxxxxx

my tom when through this a while back but it was at 10:30pm. So i went in to check he was ok, then left and shut the door, eventually he fell back to sleep then after a few nights didnt wake atall. Havent got a clue why they do this is so strange! Id just ride out and he'll come through it - especially if he isnt crying when waking just playing/babbling etc.

maybe's he's still on summer time. swear same for Ruby, she's waking up at 6.30 now rather than 7.30. just going to have to see if they get over it.

Molly's routine was always to wake between 7.45 & 8.15am but since she has been teething again she wakes up at around 5am and although I can usually get her back to sleep, she wakes every few minutes right up until she's ready to get out of bed! It's absolutely killing me coz every time I nod back off she wakes again. I'm hoping that she will settle back into her routine once her tooth has come through. I also think changing the clocks has made a difference too.

I think it's a case of grinning and bearing it, hopefully not for too much longer xxxx

might be me being stupid but could it be the clocks going back? Did he used to wake at about 6.30am? Imo was waking everynight for a feed recently but thankfully the last 3 nights she has slept through. I think they get growth spurts where they need the extra calories for all that growing (not that Imo ever grows!!) It is a faze and it will pass, beth xxxx

I agree and think it might be something to do with the clocks going back. Im having the same problem with Ruby waking at about 5. She normally wakes between 6 and 6.30. Again i'll think she has dropped off then she'll call out again. This can go on for near on an hour sometimes and I give up and get up with her.

Unfortunately now she is in a bed her pitter patter (or thud thud) wakes me! Ggrrrr.....

Finlay does this too sometimes, it's def teething I think and it's also still quite light in the mornings at the mo, that should hopefully change soon. I just go in, resettle and then leave him. We don't get up before 7 so it's tough!!!! LOL!
