Maybe Thomas is teething? Logan only usually gets nappy rash when he's teething or the one time he had gastroenteritis! I use sudocreme if it's just a little bit of redness and I have used metanium the few times it's been really bad. The yellow colour puts me off a bit and don't like the smell!

I didn't realise you could use bepanthen for nappy rash! The pharmacist here recommended it for a rash around Logie's mouth & on his hands when he's teething due to the extra saliva on them and it really works! Find it a bit sticky though!

I've never used a barrier cream on Isabella - should I?

To be fair she has only ever had a rash/redness once and this turned out to be thrush.

Touch wood Ruby has never had nappy rash therefore I have never felt the need to use a barrier cream either.

Metanium is the best invention ever!!!!! We have been really lucky and Finlay has hardly ever had nappy rash, it's only recently with this last bout of teething that he's a had a sore bot bot. We use the metanium, nice and thick and it's virtually gone the next day. We don't use any barrier cream, never have done and his bum has always been lovely and clear.
