1 nap and early bed?
ellen has recently managed to get down to one nap which is usually about 1hour30. i have noticed though that she seems to be getting tired a bit earlier on an evening. ive been going with the flow and she was in bed by 630 last night instead of 7. is this normal?
also as a result of this one nap being right over her normal lunch time ive started giving her lunch earlier.

That sounds normal to me If she's tired then having an earlier bedtime is the best idea!
Éinín's meal times have changed loads in the last year, so that's normal too!Just go wit the flow!

Yep, totally normal. When Finlay was her age he was having 1 nap a day (1 and a half - 2 hours) then in bed by 6.30pm. Still the same now but he doesn't have a nap anymore, although some days if we're out in the car he might have a cat nap for no longer than half an hour but in bed by 6.30 every night. Tis heaven cos we get a whole evening to ourselves!!!

i know what you mean, her bedtime used to be 8 but afternap times changing it went down to7, last night i think it was 630. this way she is going to bed quite full as dinner is usually when hubby gets home so we sit as a family at the table 515 usually. she has started watching too recently looking forward to my new chair for her, the one i have now has too much room in it and she can wiggle and turn around

Snap with the highchair thing! We can't sit Finn in his chicco highchair as he wriggles and turns and basically just messes about and wont eat! Tis a pain in the arse so we use the portable booster highchair and he's a dream in that...strange!! x

i dont mind
ellen did this herself, have read some websites that talk about "helping" LO to one nap. i have just been following her and putting her down when she gets tired. this new routine is what i ended up with
7am wake up
8 breakfast - weetbix at the mo
11snack
somwhere between 1130 and 1300 depending how she slept - nap
after nap lunch
330 bottle
530 dinner
6bath, then bottle, bed
its a bit variable still but thats what im aiming for it all depends when she naps ofc, some days its been 1240 but yesterday was 1140.

Oh good, I've always followed his lead and tbh love him still having 2 naps, gives me a break, lol! He's really active and never sits still for a second so explains his need for sleep x
Thanks for letting me highjack Julie xx
