Default Help me be organised...

We're going into hospital next week for Bella's op, they say it should be an overnight jobby but I'm not convinced...things don't often run smoothly with Bella. OH is staying home with Ben so I need to organise them, Ben has a mufti day next week and a fancy dress day OH is not very domesticated so I need to leave dinner for a few days, maybe something nice for breakfast? what's easy and quick from freezer to table (via the oven obviously ) I've arranged for Ben to have school dinners next week. How many changes of clothes do I pack? Would it be ott to leave the days things in labelled bags, I know OH will be worried about Bella aswell as everything else. Eeek I'm panicking and need to get sorted to help calm me down

chilli and micro rice would be quick. What about freezing some pancakes for breakfast?

Labeling the bags woud be good too, even if onl for your own peace of mind.

Hope all goes well

french toast and pancakes are really easy out of the freezer. How about just cereal and milk as well. Labeleing in bags is perfect and easy. Leave him instructions for the washer as well. (worked well with my hubby)

BTW-I left in-laws a 40 page book when I went with hubby and noa to the states for 2 weeks and left them home with my middle 3.

i was like this when we left imo to go to brussels, my poor MIL, there was sticky notes everywhere, with instructions, i did imo's routine, laminated it (my mum had just been given a laminator and i wanted to play ) made sure she read it through with me several times incase there was something she didnt understand, you know, cuz she didnt have children or virtually raise her grandson wither

Thank you, I think I'll do a spag bol and I have cauliflower cheese soup in the freezer, maybe a sausage casserole?

I was worried I was being ott with the labelled bags but I think it will make things simple and as stressfree as possible.

Thanks guys xxx

Im sure your Oh will do a grand job, some simple reheat meals sounds good... maybe stock up with fruit/nibbles so theres always something relatively good for them at hand? and dont worry they will cope even if they eat toast whilst your away... lol

Labelled bags will put your mind at rest? then do it.... leave step by step instructions for anything oh isnt sure about...

Aww its come round quickly i always think its best to over pack... nowt worse than forgetting something you want...

xxxxxxx

All the above ideas sound good hun. I'd def go with the labeled bags, you know what men are like! I'd say keep stocked up with things like beans/pasta both easy things to make a quick healthy lunch/dinner. Lots of luck hun, hope everything runs smoothly. Will be thinking of you xx
