Yes roundup does kill grass!!!!!!!!!!!!! So DO NOT use it on a windy day! LOL and read the back of the pack properly!!!!

I obviously didnt listen to my Papa properly on the phone as I used it on the dandelions but it was a bit windy and I have killed some of the grass around them. I did use it the other day on the other side of the lawn (no wind) so the spray went directly onto the dandelion and it has killed them.

RM - didnt know you could get that lawn stuff that is really what my Papa was probably talkign about!!

Our grass is crap anyway need to put buckets more seed down again!

Roundup rocks. I don't think I could manage my garden without it. One tip for very stubborn weeds - brush a tiny bit of neat roundup on them and that will definitely get rid of them. I usually put on a double pair of those surgical gloves, dip my finger in the stuff and put it on the weed that way. You have to make sure to dispose of the gloves carefully afterwards of course.

I wouldn't be moaning about dandelions, would just be grateful to have some

I want a garden fullstop! All I have in the front is a 6ft square of concrete with a few plant pots in (and bloody snails have munched all the leaves off my plants ) and a tiny concrete yard at the back which is just big enough to put my clothes airer out there (I dont have a washing line either) and for the bins!
