Question Smelly breath

Hi,

Finlay keeps getting ill, one thing on top of the other for the past few months. Constantly has a cold and either ear or chest infections that come on too. He is ill again atm and I can especially tell cos his breath is really bad. Is there anything I can do to stop his breath from smelling so bad? We clean his teeth twice a day, should I increase this whilst he's ill? Or any foods I can give to help neutralise it? My poor baby, don't want him to have smelly breath

oliver always gets bad breath when he is ill. Havent found anything that stops it yet. we just try and brush his teeth more (mainly so hes not breathing morning breath all over me!)

Everyone seems to be ill at the minute. He had a week off with a really bad cough and when he went back to nursery he lasted 2 hours before i got a call to pick him up again as they noticed him rubbing his ears and had another ear infection.

I know, it's ridiculous and I know that it's nursery that he's picking this all up from, it's so frustrating because I'm paying for a place that he's never blimmin at!!

he was fine in himself, no temperature just rubbing his ears. I dont see why he needed sending home really (i dont think ear infections are contagious but if they are then i can see thier point). He was fine all afternoon at home, running round like a madman as always and nursery accepted him back on Wednesday which was his next day due it.

Oliver is really ill atthe moment and he has smelly breath too...i find he gets this when he is ill and when he is teething...he too has picked up lots of nasty bugs since being at nursery, he used to be so healthy! worst thing is that i get whatever he has really bad as well...it sucks!

I noticed this with my Lo when he had a cold in the morning his breath would be a little smelly. Maybe its due to breathing through his mouth due to a blocked nose and cold?
