Default Hellooooo.... anyone out there?

Just noticed this section at the bottom of the screen. Hey, I'm the first to post! I hope Canada counts (ie NORTH America).

Anyone else lurking around here... Show yourselves!!

Sorry, I haven't been on much lately so just noticed this now.

Actually, it is not really hot around here now. Usually it is quite nice by now (although the frost seems to be done- God I hope I haven't jinxed that one!). Rainy and below normal temps most of the time. Supposed to be nice this week though with little to no rain in the forecast for a few days (yea!) and some warmer weather. I think that in one week we likely got about 100 mm of rain!

Oddly enough, you would think that there wouldn't be severe weather issues, but there have. Funnel clouds and tornadoes have been spotted around southern Manitoba in the past week or so. They haven't been very strong due to the lack of warm weather, so really no damage, but really odd. Usually there is this seemingly invisible line at the US/Canada border and below it, there are tons of tornadoes, and above it, next to none. Hope this doesn't say something about the rest of the summer!
