thanks for the email, but am struggling to find my way around this new website, shame that all the recipes are lost, one would think that would be one of the first things they would archive .. then again not having them has us all back on line keeping the website going hey?
re: the recipe you refer to, I can't locate it, where do I need to go and look for it b/c it maybe what I need for my LO.
many thanks

Sorry it wasnt a recipe as such i was referring to just something i had in my head.

Why dont you make a very simple tomato sauce, add some peppers or mushrooms, add the flaked salmon & serve it with rice.

AK does a fab hidden veg sauce that would go great with salmon.

This makes 4 adult portions.
2 tbsp olive oil
1 garlic clove crushed
1 onion chopped finely
100g grated carrot
50g grated courgette
50g sliced button mushrooms
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
400g passata
1 tsp soft brown sugar
1 veg stock cube dissolved in 400ml boling water
a handful of basil leaves
salt & pepper

Heat the oil in a saucepan, add the garlic, saute for a few secs, add the onions & saute for another 2 mins.
Add the carrots, courgettes & mushrooms & suate for 4 mins.
Add the balsamic vinegar & cook for 1 min.
Stir in the passat & sugar.
Cover & simmer for 8 mins.
Add the veg stock & cook for 2 mins, stirring all the time.
Add the basil & season to taste.
Place in a blender & blitz till smooth.

This recipe is suitable for freezing & is from 9mths old.

Salmon is nice just flaked and mixed in with mashed sweet potato. If your LO likes cheese, you could sprinkle some on top and bake for a bit. If you want it extra sweet you can bake the SP first. This would be nice served with some green veg. I always microwave Flo's salmon. Makes a nice and quick meal. I just add a splash of orange juice or milk.

thanks for that .. but she has allergy to dairy so have to always find recipes that are dairy free .. and soy free, drives me nuts b/c lots of things have cheese or dairy or soy.
