Default Egg Wash - Allergy alternative please?

My Son has an egg allergy and I'l love to make him chicken dippers and fishcakes etc with breadcrumbs on but what can I use as an alternative to egg to make the crumbs stick? He's a pretty good eater and seems to want to move up a stage from mashed foods, he loves AK Chicken balls!

I've done the JO garlic crunchy chicken for my son who is 16 months and allergic to egg and cow's milk. I found the coating stayed on....just had to sort of push it on a bit and I used pure spread to replace the butter.

It wasn't as nice but it was still good and a definite alternative to chicken dippers as you can just cut it into strips.

I wonder whether yoghurt or maybe cornflour mixed with little water/milk would work?!!?

Maybe a bit daft but you could even use some fruit concentrate, though might be a bit rank with the fish!

Default replacement for egg wash

My son has an egg allergy and I use a product called Ogran's No Egg - works a treat (available in Aus - not sure about overseas).
