oh I just re read he reacted to Nutramigen! I think there are som Oat based formulas but I don't know much about those x

ps I also just read about them testing him with milk at 1 year. Well as he reacted to Nutramigen I would assume that they would do this at the hospital?! Also has he had any proper allergy tests so you can monitor him, IgE blood tests and/or skin prick tests are the best ones. Levi has this done twice a year every year because his is severely allergic to nuts and eggs and reacts strongly to the others too (But nuts and egg are his worse) He carries epipens with him at all times.

Your Dr should refer you to an allergist (if he hasn't yet then ask to be) who can give you better advice on how to deal with your son's allergies and will go through with you the meds you may need to carry with you and precautions you need to take based on his reactions so far and on tests.

I talk to a lot of allergy mum's on my facebook page as well and a lot of them have a lot of experience so as I said please feel free to shout any time for help advice and I know they will all try to advise.

You are not alone, there are lots of us and we all deal with the day to day struggles and other people'd disbelief and ignorant attitudes to allergies so we are all in it together x x x I know it's not easy girls, food should not be such a danger x x x
