Default Good Carbs And Non-meat Proteins!

Hi there, can anyone help me. I have a very hungry 7 1/2 month old. She is eating approx 7/8 cubes of veg and maybe 2 teaspoons of baby pasta in the meals depending on what i am giving her plus 3 cube fruit puree after dinner or a yoghurt after tea. HV told me not to up her food amount as she is getting a lot already!!!! Told me to give more protein and carbs to fill her more (already has potato as well in most meals). Tried her with meat - not interested yet. Giving her pastas and lentils. But does anyone know anything about chickpeas? can they have them pureed? also as i have already got meals and stock piles of food done, could i jst blend them on there own and add them to meals as and when? Would they mix well with food that they havent been cooked in? SOrry for the essay but any advice would be most appreciated. Or has anyone got any other ideas!! thanku!
