I took much less this time around but i did take my straighteners!! No hairdryer, but the ward had one you could use.
I took some Pj's for the hospital and wore my maternity jeans home. I had disposable knickers (so attractive!) maternity pads, breast pads. I took travel size shampoo/shower gel (i treated myself to really nice stuff) also took nice moisturiser.
For baby: vests, a couple of baby grows a couple of cardi's a pack of nappies.

On a side note my oh cousin brought the car seat to the hospital when we were getting home only thing was she didnt bring the car seat, she brought the pushchair unit for the pram
so had to go all the way back home to get the car seat!
