We are in desperate need of advice. Our son, now 10 months old, started vomiting at 7.5 months, which co-incided with his starting to take solids. He had always refused them and shown no interest until then. The doctors diagnosed reflux - although he had no symptoms of reflux beforethat. The vomiting has continued for the past 11 weeks, although is somewhat held at bay by anti-reflux medicine. His sleeping has totally deteriorated to the stage where we are up on average, 6 times at night. Our LO wakes -either with pains - or thirsty (he will drink a bottle of 120ml water about 3 times a night). Our doctor is at a loss to explain it - and hte hospital did run some preliminary blood tests for coeliac disease which ruled that out -and also a barium scan which didn't show any acid (so goes against the reflux diagnosis).

He has no eczema or other signs of allergy but reading the posts on the website, I am wondering if anything else is at play. There seems to be no pattern to what makes him vomit. Before Christmas, all he would eat was certain veggie purees from the Ella Organic range. Since Christmas, we have managed to move him onto home made food - although little or no meat. his diet is mainly ready brek, veggies, and toast.

Any advice or suggestions would be gratefully received - as we are seriously sleep deprived at this stage - and the nursery has just rung me yet again to say that he has projectile vomited all over the place (following a bottle of milk). Thanks!
