We went to the paediatrician again today and she is sending him for an ultrasound on his abdomen and an xray on his hips so I guess that might show something up. She has also given me something called Smecta to try which is an anti-diarrohea medicine but stops cramps and absorbs gas apparently so hopefully that will help. Aside from that she suggested that he will probably just grow out of it....
I have tried taking him to bed but he doesn't seem to like feeding lying down either! My first son was in bed with me for the first 6 weeks so this has come as a surprise to me as I thought it was a sure-fire answer!
I like the idea of the bath and will give that a go. He loves his bath...
Thanks for your advice and help. I will let you know how it goes! On the plus side he has put on 400g in a month so that isn't too bad. And he is very content otherwise thank goodness
