My daughter has suffered with cronic ectopic excema since she was a baby. Back in december my doctor recommended putting her on a diary free diet which I did and then almost 2 months a go he told me to put her back on diary and stop the dairy aslternatives slowly. I did this and 2 weeks a go she was back at the doctor with her excema as she was bleeding because of the excema beign so bad and no matter how soft I put her creams on her skin just broke and bleed. She was put on a steroid cream to reduce swelling, inflammation and prevent infection and I took it up-on myself to take the dairy away, her excema is now almost back tonormal but my doctor still insists on putting her back on a dairy diet. He says there is no link between excema and diary but I feel there must be a link. Should I listen to my doctor or should I fight to get her seen by my local excema specialist and dietitian to get her put on dairy free. Nothing else has changed in her diet or hygiene routine other than taking dairy away from her. I amn so confused and was wondering what you would advice me to do.
Thank oyu in advance for any help and advice you give
